Brad Wanamaker 17 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (4/9/2019)

Brad Wanamaker, the 29-year-old Celtics rookie who looks like he just woke up on the wrong side of forty, has actually played pretty well this season from my perspective. My perspective, of course, it just looking up his stats on basketball-reference and making a snap judgment based on his shooting percentages. I also merge that information with any social media or forum posts I have seen about the player, but, in Wanamaker’s case, I haven’t seen any such posts. The Celtics have about ten players that are more likely to be cared about than Wanamker, so I haven’t gotten a good read on the Celtics’ fanbase in terms of what they think about him. For now I’m going with “neutral acceptance”.

My new, 100% accurate judgment of Wanamaker indicates that he is a better player than Terry Rozier and is the Celtics player best suited for the backup point guard role behind Kyrie. Brad Stevens is supposed to be a good coach but Wanamaker has only appeared in half of the Celtics’ games this season (despite being better than Rozier) so I’m going to go ahead and say that he’s a BAD COACH. Rozier regularly tanked the Celtics with his poor play as soon as he entered games; Wanamaker is a vet (even though he’s a rookie, he’s a veteran of basketball in general) and knows how to keep the ship upright when he’s on the court.

Again, all this is just baseless speculation because I don’t actually know very much about Wanamaker at all. I’m assuming he has leadership ability because of how old he looks. I hope that doesn’t make me a bad person.
