Myles Turner is officially on notice. If he keeps putting up games like this one, he’s going to find himself banished from my channel. FOREVER. Well, not forever, but for a long time, until he enters the twilight of his career. I’ve done it before, and I’ll do it again. You think you’ll ever see Victor Oladipo on this channel ever again? Heh. He played himself right out of DTB eligibility last season.
Maybe I should’ve just said “no Myles Turner this year”, which would be a lot easier on me, but then I remembered how useless he was in whatever FIBA crap was happening this offseason. Now, it’s FIBA (or was it Olympics????? idk), so you can’t really use it as a judge of NBA success, but man, he really didn’t do anything. So I’m like “well, maybe he isn’t that good after all” but now I see this game and I’m like “wow maybe he’s actually still pretty good”. It’s all very confusing.
Further confusion is added by the fact that he led the league in blocks last year. Someone who leads the entire league (comprised solely of the best basketball players the universe has to offer) in one of the major boxscore stats shouldn’t fall under the purview of my scrub-oriented channel, right? I think I’m slowly convincing myself that this will be the only Turner vid of the year. Maybe. Maybe not. We’ll see.
Also, no Malcolm Brogdon this year. Sorry Pacers fans, but it just hurts to much. Plus, that dude is going to probably average 20 and 10.
