Do not be fooled by the somewhat paltry point total (just in general, for OG Anunoby this is actually rather good) of this highlight video, because this is one of the sickest displays of the year so far. Yeah, we’re only a few games in, but I bet by the time we get half way through the season this will still be one of the top Raptors performances.
You know it’s good when Raptors commentator Jack Armstrong weakly rasps out “get that garbage outta here!” not once, but twice.
I don’t usually think of Anunoby is a particularly adept shot-blocker, but he had four of them tonight, and they were all devastating. I forgot to mention: we got two “garbage outta here”s, but we also got a nice Dikembe Mutombo impersonation from Mr. Armstrong. So not only is the videographical content of this video awesome, the audio content is as well. For once, I won’t recommend that you simply mute the video and put on Jock Jams instead.
What I DO recommend is that you just stop reading these words (boring text provided by some nerd) and watch the vid (exciting images provided by a big sexy man) instead. In fact, I’m going to make your decision for you and stop providing words for you to read. So there.
