I know this is a video depicting the exploits of one Ja Morant, one of the most exciting rookies in the NBA right now, but I am very upset about injustice right now and I have to get it off my chest. Isn’t that what all of pubic discourse is about these days? Fighting injustice? Well, injustice is happening right now on the Grizzlies, and I don’t see anyone talking about it, so it looks like DownToBuck will once again have to step up to the plate and be a warrior for justice on social media. A “Social Justice Warrior”, if you will.
The injustice in question: Bruno Caboclo is barely getting to play at all even though he showed last year that he could be a beast.
The proposed solution to the injustice in question: give Bruno Caboclo appropriate minutes befitting his status as a beast.
And that’s all I have to say about that. Complex problem, simple solution. Just let him play, let him do Caboclo things for the Grizzlies like he did those last few months of the season last year, and there will be no more injustice. If this happens, the world will be one small step closer to total equality.
Morant, for his part, had a pretty nice game tonight, but his name isn’t Bruno Caboclo, so I’m not really caring all that much about it right now. If he can grow a couple inches, change his nationality to Brazilian, and get brutally marginalized by inept coaching staff, maybe we can revisit the matter in a few days.
