Tony Snell 24 Points/6 Threes/0 Missed Field Goals Full Highlights (11/6/2019)

I will never stop antagonizing Bulls fans over the fact that the Bucks TOTALLY won the trade that involved sending Michael Carter-Williams to the Bulls for Tony Snell. The Bucks won that trade SO damn hard. It was, as they say, a “fleecing”. The Bucks got a totally startable sweet-shooting small forward who didn’t need the ball to be effective. The Bulls got… a ball-dominant tall PG who couldn’t shoot.

I think about that trade all the time, because it often enters my thoughts when I’m thinking about Snell, which is a lot of the time. You know that old saying that men think about sex 10 times a minute on average? Replace sex with Snell.

The Pistons can say sort of the same thing about the trade that got them Snell. All they had to give up was Jon Leuer (who I used to like as a player once upon a time, believe it or not) and they got a totally startable sweet-shooting small forward who didn’t need the ball to be effective. I don’t like thinking about that trade as much because I really liked Snell and I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing him being in a Bucks uni.

Snell was kind of in one of his do-nothing slumps to start the year, but he finally broke out of it tonight, scoring 24 points on 9-for-9 shooting. And don’t think that scoring was the only thing he did, no sir, he STUFFED the stat sheet. 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal. That’s basically a god-damn triple-double for him.
