Kendrick Nunn 20 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (11/12/2019)

No matter what happens with Kendrick Nunn this season, we will always be able to look back fondly at his first five games where he was averaging 22 PPG per game and was a leading MVP candidate (at least stats-wise). Those five games might end up being the peak of his career, but what a peak. Personally, I will never forget those fun times, and I advise Heat fans to replace any memories they have of The Heatles with new memories of Nunnsanity.

He came back down to earth after those first few games, which was to be expected. His percentages were unsustainable, plus, Jimmy Butler came back. I know I said I’d get really mad if Butler came back and started taking minutes away from Nunn/Tyler Herro/Duncan Robinson, and I kind of am, but when it comes to Nunn, that’s fine. Butler’s been playing well (as much as it pains me to say that), and he needs to tell Nunn that rookies can’t just come into the league and think they can shoot tons of shots without conscience/consequence.

Oh, and if you’re wondering why I haven’t been totally ragging on this dude for past domestic violence incidents, I’m just biding my time. Don’t think I forgot. Though I actually didn’t realize this dude was the same dude with the whole woman-hitting problem from whenever it came out initially. Hard to keep all the abusers in the NBA straight, sometimes.
