There’s not much point in writing anything of substance in the description box of a Dillon Brooks highlight video. I’ve made three other videos for him this season, and not one of them has reached the mythical thousand-view threshold that basically informs me whether or not the video should even have been made in the first place. Even the video where he scores 31 points, which is a tantalizing amount of points that certainly resulted in an entertaining highlight video, is at just 950 views as of this writing.
My efforts would be much better spent in writing descriptions for Ja Morant videos. Or pre-writing descriptions for my end-of-season -ilations. Or writing angsty Twilight fanfiction of questional bio-anatomic accuracy for distribution on fanfiction.net (I don’t even know the characters or story but that hasn’t stopped my novel-length mpreg smut from getting thousands of hits on that site). This video will top out at three hundred views so putting forth an effort on the words I’m currently typing is simply out of the question.
The only way anybody will ever see what I’ve written here is if Brooks gets traded to the Lakers, Knicks, or Raptors. Since I would rather nobody read my low-effort ramblings, I will be spending the rest of my life exerting pressure on the Grizzlies’ front office to ensure that Brooks stays a Grizzly for his entire career.
