Nassir Little 12 Points Full Highlights (11/19/2019)

The biggest story of this game was the triumphant (at least, triumphant until the game actually started) return of Carmelo Anthony to the NBA. If he had scored just a few more points, I’d be making the most pathetic highlight video of all time for him. It would be so sad.

But the biggest story of this game for DownToBuck was that Nassir Little scored 12 points including 2 three-pointers. Screw off Carmelo; if you take any more of his minutes even by proxy (since they don’t really play the same position), I’m going to drive myself over to Portland and sabotage your knees with my billy club. Carmelo has had enough chances in the league. Little has not had nearly enough.

It’s hard to believe that this dude is 6-5. I’m pretty sure that’s the height C.J. McCollum was listed at before the crackdown on fabricated heights (I’m being sarcastic here to make a point), but Little plays at or above the rim when he can. He doesn’t want to be an averaged-sized shooting guard, probably because he can’t shoot that well yet. He wants to be an undersized small forward, and if I were Terry Stotts, I’d say screw it and move him to power forward full time. He already plays there sometimes, his skillset fits the position, why not? Gotta keep changing things up with the lineups if the Blazers ever want to win a game ever again.
