DeAndre’ Bembry Career High 22 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (11/22/2019)

The fact that “Career High” adorns the title of this video is not going to be nearly enough to get people to actually watch it. For reasons that I can’t really discern, DeAndre’ Bembry has no fans to speak of. Didn’t he go to college? Normally, even the unpopular players have a small legion of fans consisting of the alumni of the college they went to. Does St. Joseph’s not have any alumni? They definitely do, but those alumni would rather cheer on Langston Galloway (just kidding, that dude doesn’t have any fans either, I’m sensing a trend here).

It is a little harder to be a fan of a player who isn’t that good on offense, like Bembry. But shouldn’t his, like, tenacity or whatever, or his surprising dunking ability gain him some supporters who like the scrappy players? Apparently not. I don’t think even Hawks fans like him that much, and if they complain and say that they actually do like him, then I’m going to tell them to get going on watching highlight vids of him because all their view counts suck.

I’m seriously considering taking a drastic step (not drastic steps, I only need the one) to ensure that people enjoy this video. That drastic step: changing the title to DeAndre’ Bembry Career High 42 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (11/22/2019). People would see that, freak out a little bit, say to themselves “how the frick did some guy named Bremby score 40 without me noticing”, and then watch the vid. While watching it, they’d think “this guy better get to scoring quickly, there’s only 30 seconds left in the video” before realizing that they’d been bamboozled. Hoodwinked. Tricked.

It is only my profound sense of professionalism that prevents me from performing such an act.
