Eric Paschall 25 Points Full Highlights (11/27/2019)

It seems like so much time has passed since Eric Paschall scored 14 points in his Warriors debut, but it was only about a month ago. Things were so different then. There was still hope that the Warriors would remain an elite team, although the fact that Paschall (who was, at that point, just a random rookie no one had really heard of) played 31 minutes raised some serious red flags.

Now we know what the Warriors truly are: a horrible team. Just a really bad team because all their good players are injured except for the one who was only good because of all the elite talent around him (I’m talking about Draymond Green here). But just because they’re super sucky this year doesn’t mean they can’t have some fun! I sensed a lot of fun happening during this game; whatever the new Warriors arena is called was really hopping tonight. Maybe it was hopping even harder than the old arena was during all those championships at stuff. Badness distorts a fanbase’s expectations quickly, and you could tell that the fans were simply really excited to see a win.

Though his team is not doing so well in terms of wins and losses, Paschall keeps chugging right along, taking the coveted “first-banana” mantle away from the injured Stephen Curry/D’Angelo Russell and earning the nickname “The Paschanniball”. I’m not exactly sure how you spell it (one L or two?), but I will say that that nickname might be a little tasteless. Real people have been eaten by real cannibals, and we’re just going to make light of that sad situation by giving an NBA player a nickname referencing the consumption of human flesh by another human?
