Glenn Robinson III is coming off a 0-10 game that ranks as one of the worst performances of the season, by anybody. Darius Garland also had an 0-10 game, and of course everyone will remember Joel Embiid’s recent 0-11. Embiid got clowned pretty hard for that, but since, as far as I can tell, no one besides Warriors fans even realizes that Robinson is in the league, Robinson avoided much blowback from his bricktastic performance.
I noticed. I always notice stuff like that, but I don’t judge too harshly. Especially with a player like Robinson, on a team like the Warriors. Just by the nature of the situation, there are going to be a lot of bad shots being taken by everyone on the roster. And because they’re bad shots, they’re not going to go in all that often. 0-10 is bad, but it’s not as bad as what’s probably going to be in store for some other random Warriors role-player. I can totally see Jordan Poole with an 0-16.
And with this 19-point game, I’d say he’s undid the damage from last game. Mostly. He’s averaging almost 10 points per game over the last two games because of what he did tonight. That’s pretty good! Certainly way more points than what his dad would be averaging if he somehow still got to play in the NBA.
