Norman Powell 23 Points Full Highlights (12/3/2019)

The Raptors finally lost a game. I was beginning to think that they were never going to lose again, that the voodoo (or Canadian/First Nations equivalent of voodoo) magic that somehow is keeping them afloat after Kawhi Leonard’s departure would keep voodooing and magicking until they won another championship. Thank goodness that that is not the case.

And since the Raptors lost, that means their fans will be in no mood to watch highlight videos from said loss. I’ve noticed a trend, and that trend is that view counts go down a fair amount if the player shown in a video lost the game. Fans just don’t care what you do in a loss, and they don’t want to be reminded of the loss by consuming media depicting it.

Which means I can say WHATEVER I WANT about the Raptors and they won’t be around to ride my heinie about it. This is great! I can finally offer my pure, unfiltered thoughts about the franchise, the city, and the country!

But I won’t. I’m too classy to diss franchises/cities/countries behind their back. I want to do it in their face, so I can see them get all upset but be too polite to do anything about it because of that well-known Canadian politeness. Sorry, but I’ll have to save my REAL thoughts (which you haven’t seen yet, I’ve been filtering them for a easily-butthurt, homerific, Raptors-fan audience) about the quality of Norman Powell’s play for some other day.
