Mike Scott 21 Points Full Highlights (12/7/2019)

Mike Scott had the offseason that all NBA players dream of: the kind where you go around and beat up NFL fans. What could be better than going to a tailgate before a game and getting into a skirmish with a drunk fan? And since it’s an NFL-related issue, the NBA won’t even punish you for it! And what’s the NFL gonna do? Even Roger Goodell has no power over an NBA player.

Sadly, while he was having so much fan traveling around the country and harrassing fans of inferior sports, he forgot that he needed to keep working on his game as well. He’s got that baseline level of talent that will keep him getting an NBA check (barely), but he’s not the kind of shooting stud that can just slack off. A normal NBA offseason for an NBA player involves literal chains and padlocks around literal gym doors that won’t be removed until the player makes a gajillion three-pointers.

Scott’s had a couple good shooting games, like, two or three (not including this one) on the season, so he wasn’t TOTALLY broken. But he’s definitely been below what Philly fans expected for him this season. I feel like maybe the expectations for him were a little high, but that’s what happens when a team gets good. Of course the fans only want for everyone to get better.
