Terrence Ross 23 Points Full Highlights (12/9/2019)

I had this penciled in as at least a 40-point win for the Bucks. AT LEAST. I was all set to enjoy a nice stress-free game of primo Bucks basketball, I had a comfy seat, I had my food, I had my drinks, I had my little kitty Japurri Purrker looking up at me and begging for some of the food (I think I broke him when I gave him a bite of McDonalds once, now he wants what I eat instead of his little brown pebbles), it was perfect. And then Terrence Ross and his stupid friend Evan Fournier had to go and ruin my perfect night by actually making shots. Frickin’ scrubs. Can’t you just let me have this one thing, this one eensy-weensy tiny little thing? Just one night of Bucks basketball where I can literally enjoy the whole thing without stress because once games get within 15 points I start freaking out?

The Bucks did win this game despite Ross’ and Fournier’s best efforts, because the Magic roster is in a really messed up state right now. What even is wrong with Aaron Gordon? Is he concussed? He’s playing like he’s perpetually concussed. With him sucking, and Nikola Vucevic injured, they’re really lacking in scorers. Defense is good, something they can hang their hat on, but that’s not going to win you tons of games when you can hardly score 100 on any given night. What is this, 2007?

And you know what I’m going to say next, because I’m predictable (I’d like to see you NOT be predictable after writing literal thousands of these things), but I think Ross should try and take over next game. Go for a new career high in points. His old career high was sweet, but that was a long time ago now, so long ago that my memory of the specific plays in it has faded entirely. He needs to make new memories for Magic fans who may have forgotten what a beast Tracy McGrady was by scoring 60. Should be doable, as long as Gordon promises not to jack up so many horrible shots.
