Big props going out right now to Cam Reddish for scoring all of the Hawks’ points in overtime. I could leave it at that, you could not watch this video, and then walk away with the assumption that Reddish took over the game or something to give the Hawks the win. That would be exactly the opposite of what happened, but the thing with the internet is that you don’t have to expose yourself to things you don’t want to be exposed to.
And if you find the right sites, you can expose yourself to things that don’t want to be exposed to you.
Anyway, the reality is that Reddish hit two garbage time (there should be no garbage time in overtime, come on Hawks) buckets at the end of overtime as the Hawks got totally dominated for the rest of it. Kind of a sad ending to what looked for a long time like a really nice Hawks win, but at least there were some positives. De’Andre Hunter looked really good. And Reddish, well, at least he hit some shots for once.
Reddish’s 25-burger was so recent that I thought about not making this vid, but it’s hard to argue with six legitimate Reddish buckets. This is his third highest-scoring game of the season, which is another thing to argue against. He’s looked so bad this season that I really should be jumping at any chance to paint him in at least a semi-positive light, and this game is that chance.
