It literally just occurred to me that Joe Harris and Kyrie Irving were already teammates back in Cleveland. It’s easy to forget that Harris has played anywhere besides Brooklyn, because his 2-year stint with the Cavaliers was completely forgettable: 51 games, 2.7 ppg his first year, 5 games, 0.6 ppg his second year. It was a surprise to me that he managed to come back to the NBA so quickly, and even more surprisingly that he established himself as a legitimate contributor right away.
But just because Irving and Harris were already teammates doesn’t mean I don’t want Irving off the team or, at the very least, to never come back from whatever injury he has. I definitely still want that dude off the Nets as quickly as possible so as to perserve as much of the funness from last year as possible. I just thought it was interesting to note, that those two players had previously crossed paths even if both of them would probably rather forget those days entirely.
Sidenote: if you’re waiting patiently for Spencer Dinwiddie highlights from this game, well, I hope you’re really super-duper patient, because they’re not coming. I graduated him from the channel on account of him averaging 20 ppg. Sorry to break it to you this way, but I did what I had to do to keep my sacred Archivium pure and free from the taint of non-role-players.
