Funnily enough, I was JUST thinking about how bad Kevin Knox was sucking, because that’s what I usually do when I’m not making videos, is just sit around and think about various crappy NBA players and how bad they’re sucking at playing basketball. So I was thinking about Knox and how he just really, really sucks, and then I started regretting not making a vid for him scoring 16 in, like, the second game of the season. That’s the other thing I do when I’m not making videos; I think about the videos I should’ve made but didn’t.
Sometimes I feel like my entire life is consumed by this venture.
Anyway, that regret is lessened now because Knox took full advantage of getting to play against the Hawks and scored 17 points, a season high. He still sucks, it’s going to be a few years before he stops sucking, and that’s an optimistic timeframe, because it might not happen at all. But just because he sucks doesn’t mean he can’t sometimes score a decent amount of points. That’s one of the lessons I’ve learned over the many years of making “highlight” vids for bad players.
It would help matters if he did anything at all besides score meager amounts of points inefficiently, but he doesn’t. Like, everyone agrees that Andrew Wiggins sucks (even if he looks slightly better this year) because he only scores and he’s not that great at it. Knox is like Wiggins, except way worse at scoring. Yeah. Not good.
If you think I’m being too hard on him, maybe I am, but I’ve been too light on the criticism with regards to players who suck lately. I’m turning into a big old softie. If you can show me a piece of evidence as to why he doesn’t suck, I’ll be happy to hear it, and equally happy to discard it without really considering it. Because Knox sucks, and that’s all there is to it.
I also just wanted to use the word “suck” as much as I possibly could in a single description.
