Darius Garland 21 Points Full Highlights (12/23/2019)

Okay, whoops, I just totally forgot that I actually had to write some words for Darius Garland instead of just blazing ahead and making another video. Could it be that I secretly resent having to compose all these paragraphs and wish that I could just make endless videos without being required to offer my inane commentary on each and every one of them?

Nah. If I didn’t have this as an outlet for (semi-) creative writing, I would have written tons of really cringey manifestos by now. And fanfiction. I mean, yeah, I write what would be called “NBA fanfiction”, but it’s all in good fun.

So, Garland. He had a good game. This is notable because usually he has bad games, not good games. Bad games are expected for a rookie, no first-year player is immune, but it’s really been more of a “bad season” for him rather than just scattered bad games. Such is life in Cleveland without LeBron there to magically make everything better; their young players just aren’t in a very good environment that would be conducive to their success. Like, Matthew Dellavedova is great, but I don’t know if he’s the guy I want teaching my young guards about how to be a successful offensive player in the NBA.
