I would like to issue an OFFICIAL DTB APOLOGY for my heinous actions on the night of October 23rd. That night, Tyus Jones scored fifteen points and dropped seven dimes in his debut with the Memphis Grizzlies. As Jones has never been a player known for scoring a lot of points, and given that a player’s first game with a team is often noteworthy simply by virtue of it being a debut, it would seem obvious that DownToBuck would make a highlight video for such a performance.
However, no video was ever made, and for that I wish to give you a sincere and heartfelt apology. It was my responsibility to provide the video, but I failed. Not only did I fail my own high standards for myself, but I failed you, my viewers and subscribers. And the memory of that failure is burned in my brain so deeply that it will never be forgotten.
It is my hope that the healing process can truly begin now with the uploadment of this Tyus Jones 15 point highlight video. Sure, this video is demonstrably lower-quality than the neglected video would have been (as Jones only had two assists in this game, unshown), but it may be an adequate enough replacement to allow us all to begin patching up the holes in our hearts that were ripped open when the night of October 23 and the morning of October 24 passed with no Tyus Jones highlight videos.
I am not even asking for forgiveness. I do not deserve forgiveness. I only ask for healing.
