Damion Lee 18 Points Full Highlights (12/28/2019)

With 15 rebounds last game and 12 rebounds in this one, it’s looking like Damion Lee has discovered a little-known NBA truism: that rebounds are there for the taking and anyone who wants to try for them can have them. Russell Westbrook is a high-profile player who takes advantage of this in order to get triple-doubles, but I’m sure there have been many players throughout the years who found out that all you have to do to get rebounds is go where you think the ball is going to go after a miss and try to catch it.

Man, it sounds really simple when I put it that way. Why doesn’t everyone average double-digit rebounds?

Perhaps I should’ve included the rebounds in this highlight vid, because they probably were more entertaining than what Lee was doing on offense. He had a good amount of points, but there’s a dirty little secret with them: 7 of them were scored in the last 2 minutes of the game, when it was a blowout so thorough that, at the end of it, Boban Marjanovic was escorted onto the court in a dog costume and chains (to signify his place of residence, Carlisle’s doghouse) to brick some threes.
