Dzanan Musa 14 Points Full Highlights (1/2/2020)

It’s great the Dzanan Musa has confidence in his three-point stroke, but maybe he should chill out on those a little bit. This is the real NBA, this isn’t the G-League where you can do whatever you want and it’s fine. Granted, he was 2-of-3 tonight, a blistering performance that brings him to nearly 21 percent from deep on the season. That brings him about in line with fellow Net and three-point brickmaster Theo Pinson in terms of futility. Among people who shoot a fair amount of threes, he’s second-to-last, only ahead of Matthew “New Shooting Form” Dellavedova.

Okay, that’s enough with the criticism. Musa just got a career high in points, what I am doing criticizing him for not being able to make threes? Now is not the time. Now is the time to be positive and supportive, to encourage him in his quest to be a legit NBA role-player. So here are some good things he did tonight:

-Got a career high in points, already mentioned that but gotta pad out this list
-Hit some threes, actually tied a career high in that category
-Hit some other shots, and they weren’t the easiest gimmes ever
-Played the whole game without developing ANY blood clots (Mirza Teletovic was taken from us way too early, god damn it)
-Had some assists, showing he’s not just a pure shooter
-Shared the court with Henry Ellenson

That’s a lot of good things! Kenny Atkinson is looking rather silly for only playing him 11 combined minutes over the previous 8 games.
