Naz Reid 13 Points Full Highlights (1/2/2020)

I haven’t seen a whole lot of him (no one has, unless you’re on of those perverts who actually watches G-League games), but from what I can tell, Naz Reid is basically the same caliber of scorer as Karl-Anthony Towns. Maybe slightly worse, but that’s because he’s a rookie playing in the fifth game of his career. Towns wasn’t a killer scorer at that point either.

Am I being serious right now? I think I’m not, but then I look at Reid’s three-point stroke and willingness to shoot the ball and I think maybe I am. When it comes to paint scoring Reid has a ways to go (or maybe he just needs a point guard of a higher caliber than the ones he’s got right now), but with his quick and compact release from deep, that’s Towns-esque right there. He can just shoot it, even if he is shooting it kinda from his chest. That didn’t stop Timberwolves legend Shawn Marion, and it shouldn’t stop Reid either.

Yes, I know that Marion never played with Minnesota. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a legend for them, though. He’s a legend for every team.
