Terry Rozier 29 Points/8 Assists Full Highlights (1/4/2020)

OFFICIAL DTB CONFESSION: I was maybe a little bit wrong about Terry Rozier going into this season. I never thought he would put up stats the way he’s currently putting up stats. I thought he would put up 16/3/3 on 37% shooting while leading the Hornets to twenty wins. I did not think he would put up 18/5/5 on 42% from the field while putting the Hornets on pace to win around 32 games and helping his team to maybe sneak into the playoffs as the most pathetic eighth seed ever.

That’s not to say that Terry Rozier has shed the “tank commander” title. He still has that title and he’s still commanding the tank expertly. It’s just that the tank is a lot more competitive than I thought the tank would be, thanks to unexpectedly strong play from Devonte’ Graham, P.J. Washington, Bismack Biyombo, and, yes, Rozier himself.

It pains me to make this confession. I’m supposed to be the one that’s right about everything. If I think a player is gonna suck, then they’re supposed to suck, and every good game they have is like stabbing a shard of pure ice through my heart. Rozier, with this game where he was both a good team player and a big clutch-time performer, took that ice-shard and jammed it right through my right ventricle. Then he laughed at me while I bled out on the ground. And that’s as much as I deserved.
