I will have you know that I am NOT EVEN MAD right now. Not even a little bit. You might think that, as a Bucks fan, I would be mad, but I am actually the farthest thing away from being mad as it’s possible to be. On the contrary, I think it may be YOU who is mad.
The reason for my serenity? I didn’t even get the opportunity to watch Patty Mills hit a whole bunch of madness-inducing threes against the Bucks. I saw the first one, and the three-shot foul, but that was it. The good thing about running a highlights empire is that I don’t get to see the Bucks lose games due only to the hot shooting of their opponent (which is basically the only way teams can beat the Bucks these days, they give up a lot of threes and sometimes really pay the price).
But even if I was watching and saw all these threes as they happened, I still would not be mad. Because I have elevated myself above feeling such primitive emotions, especially while watching basketball games. I now watch as a detached observer, enjoying good play by either team and not worrying about the outcome. Basketball is supposed to be a joy, and a joy it is to me.
That said: SCREW OFF Patty Mills. Frickin’ hitting a bunch of tough threes and then running back down the court to play defense like he’s some sort of good player or something. Just screw off. Forever.
