Anzejs Pasecniks 16 Points Full Highlights (1/8/2020)

I am hereby designating Anzejs “Guybrush Threepwood” Pasecniks an official role-player in the NBA. That means, from now on, whichever team he goes to, he will find a role on that team and help that team win games. Officially. I may be a little late with my designation, but you always want to be careful before handing out the title of role-player all willy-nilly. Case in point: I mistakenly designated D.J. Wilson a role-player (instead of a scrub) and I am now my reputation is paying the price as he rots on the bench in Milwaukee.

Right now, Pasecniks is on the low end of the role-player spectrum. It will take a lot of work to get up to the higher tiers. He will have to stop missing easy stuff at the rim, for one thing. How do you even miss when you’re as tall as he is? He’ll have to get stronger on defense. Maybe tighten up his default on-court facial expression so he doesn’t look so dopey all the time (that advice could be helpful for a lot of players, actually). And confidence. More confidence. That’s the thing that just naturally builds up over time, but he could accelerate the process by ordering and then listening to that As-Seen-On-TV CD that has motivational words and people clapping and cheering on it. I listen to that whenever life has got me down.
