Normally a small amount of points such as sixteen would not qualify Reggie Bullock for a highlight video. However, I am making a one-time exception because Bullock just came back from injury at the beginning of the month and there are probably Knicks fans out there who want to see how their big free-agency acquisition is doing. LOL. Lots of laughs.
Really though, Bullock’s arrival should help the Knicks out a lot. He’s a proven medium-volume three-point shooter, and he’s shown that he can be an effective shooter even in bad lineups (which is all the Knicks have). Before he returned, the only shooter the Knicks had was Wayne “Beef W” Ellington, and, it pains me to say it, but my man Beef W looks utterly washed. Outside of the theoretically good shooting of Ellington and the until-now injured shooting of Bullock, the Knicks had a bunch of guys who are willing to shoot sometimes but aren’t very good at it. In today’s NBA, that type of fake spacing isn’t going to cut it because defenses will just make you take threes that you can’t reliably make.
By the way, do you remember how James Dolan thought that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to NY was a lock? Elfrid Payton and Reggie Bullock isn’t a terrible consolation prize though. LOL. Lots of laughs.
