When I say “/1 Quarter” in the title of this video, that is not meant to indicate that Brandon Goodwin literally played only one quarter and didn’t get any time in the rest of the three quarters. It indicates that, when it comes to plays shown in this highlight video, all of them are from one quarter. And, in this case, it’s the fourth quarter. Because Brandon Goodwin literally took the game over while Kawhi was off in a secret bunker getting his load managed by a team of load managers and Paul George was…I dunno. Off fishing or something. But you can bet both of them were crying while they watched their abandoned teammates give up the loss to the lowly Hawks.
Goodwin (who, by the way, totally looks like Langston Galloway, Ben McLemore, and Malik Beasley combined) scored all of his nineteen points in the final quarter. If that’s not “taking the game over”, I don’t know what is. Sure, the Clippers were playing without their superstars, but the Hawks were also playing without their superstars, Trae Young and Chandler Parsons. Just because a team isn’t playing at full strength doesn’t mean that you can’t take over a game from them.
P.S. I beseech the powers that be to please bring Archie Goodwin back to the league. He was given up on too quickly. My ability to evaluate talent is superior to everybody else’s talent-evaluation ability, and I have evaluated him to be a guaranteed 12/2/2 player off the bench. The fact that I had a Freudian slip and initially typed “Archie Goodwin” in the title of this upload certainly means something.
