Luke Kornet 15 Points Full Highlights (1/22/2020)

In the three-point era, there are just fourteen seven-footers who have shot below 40% for their careers while playing a minimum of fifty games. Luke “The Korn Dog” Kornet is one of the players found in that list of dubious distinction.

The Korn Dog gets a pass because he’s a three-point specialist, but it’s only a partial pass because his two-point percentage (46.3%) isn’t great for a big man. I’m going to give you the rest of the list just because it’s fun to look at some of these names and remember the good times (or the bad times, as it were):

Tito Horford (30.0%) – How is this even possible?
Nikoloz Tskitishvili (30.4%) – Sleeper candidate for biggest bust OF ALL TIME
Les Jepsen (33.3%) – Don’t know who this is
Ron Cavenall (33.7%) – Don’t know who this is
Bruno Šundov (35.6%) – Don’t know who this is, but he sounds foreign
Dalibor Bagarić (36.1%) – Don’t know who this is, but he sounds foreign
Earl Barron (37.1%) – Holds the honor of being the Bucks’ leading scorer (with 10 points) when they lost to the Celtics 56-87
Tom Burleson (37.9%) – This name is vaguely familiar
Nick Vanos (38.3%) – Don’t know who this is
Luke Kornet (38.4%) – The inspiration for this list in the first place
Oleksiy Pecherov (38.6%) – Stacey King once called him “Stewie”
Rich King (39.3%) – Don’t know who this is
Yinka Dare (39.6%) – Worst assister in league history by a mile. RIP
Dragan Bender (39.7%) – Bust, but I still think he could be good, even if that’s just my homerism talking
