I am currently in the process of coming up with a big list of excuses for why I will not be making a video for Terry Rozier’s 21-point showing in this game. The simple truth of it is that I am fed up with having to make a Rozier vid seemingly every god damn Hornets game. But the peasants will assault me with questions as to why there is no vid, and I will need answers to quell them before an uprising begins.
I need no such excuses for this Miles Bridges vid. I was PERFECTLY happy to compile it for all my loyal viewers to watch. Bridges may be putting up some of the emptiest stats in the league right now (normally I don’t care for the term “empty stats” but it seems quite apt in Bridges’ case), but he’s still putting the ball in the hole at a nice clip. And that’s all I care about. Balls in holes. I’ve got days and days of footage of balls going in holes, and that total just got 2 minutes longer with the addition of this vid.
Is he even in the dunk contest this year? I feel like I’ve heard a few announcements of participants (Dwight Howard is going to stink it up UNLESS he finds Nate Robinson and uses him as a prop), but Bridges being invited doesn’t ring a bell. Not like it matters for me; I haven’t watched the dunk contest in years, preferring instead the raw excitement of in-game dunks. Like the ones Bridges had tonight, which happened in a real game against real NBA defenders who were trying to stop him from dunking.
Oh wait, he was playing against the Wizards. Never mind.
