Thomas Bryant 21 Points Full Highlights (1/30/2020)

The ‘Zards rarely get wins these days, but when they do, it’s against teams that have such an impotent offensive attack that even the ‘Zards nearly nonexistent defense can stop them from scoring. Enter the Charlotte Hornets. They were good for a little while and maybe even snuck into a playoff seeding for a little while, but now they suck again, and Thomas Bryant, no matter how inadequate his defense is, is not afraid of any of the dudes who he would have to guard.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the ball, Bryant once again proved that he is a force from all areas of the court. The Hornets bigs were probably quaking in their shoes whenever Bryant checked in to the game, because having to defend Bryant means you’re going to get embarrassed one or two or, in this case, nine times. Bryant’s midrange game isn’t as prolific as efficient as it was in my mind, but it looks good here, so again, the image of Bryant as some kind of midrange jimbo god is built up.

I, personally, am not looking forward to the days when the ‘Zards want to compete for a playoff seed and thus start playing defense. When that happens, their whole identity will be destroyed and Bryant probably won’t even be a core piece like he sort of is now. Can we sign a petition to ensure that the ‘Zards will always maximize the funness of their roster by playing this way?
