Chandler Hutchison 17 Points Full Highlights (2/2/2020)

I didn’t think this would happen so quickly, but I am OFFICIALLY ready to crown Chandler Hutchison as the BEST CHANDLER IN THE NBA RIGHT NOW. This isn’t so much praise for Hutchison as it is a chance to dump on the other guys who he has to share his name with:

-Chandler Parsons. Any NBA player who is medically able to play will, by default, be superior to Parsons, so it’s not a high bar to clear, but, neverthless, Hutchison cleared it. Parsons got into a car accident recently and apparently the injuries he suffered might force him into a medical retirement.

-Tyson Chandler. This dude is old as dirt (37) and barely even tries to score anymore (just 18 shot attempts this season, of which he’s made 14), but he still gets minutes over Isaiah Hartenstein (for reasons known only to Mike D’Antoni), so he presents a higher bar to clear than Parsons does. Hutchison is a more dynamic scorer and has a more pristine hairline than Tyson, so he wins.

-Wilson Chandler. He’s been inexplicably low-volume since the 17-18 season, a trend which culminated in him scoring just nine points per 36 minutes as a full-time starter with the Sixers. His scoring has picked up a bit this season with the Nets, but he’s definitely on the downswing of his career. Hutchison has at least shown the ability to randomly get hot. I don’t think Wilson Chandler has that ability anymore. At all.

So there you have it. Chandler Hutchison is OFFICIALLY the BEST CHANDLER IN THE NBA RIGHT NOW.
