This is a strangely unsatisfying Bogdan Bogdanovic highlight video. He scored 23 points, which was second the second highest point total in the game for all players, but he only made five shots. Nine free throws (out of eleven attempts) provided the rest of the pointage. When there are more free throws than field goals, you just know that the entertainment value of a highlight video is going to be way lower than it should be.
To compound the unsatisfyingness of this video, only one of Bogdanovic’s trips to the free throw line was the result of an actual shooting foul. The rest were loose ball fouls, personal fouls, or intentional fouls. So it’s not like he was even making plays at the basket to get foul calls going his way. Timberwolves players were just running into him either accidentally or on purpose. Even worse, Bogdanovic choked on his second-to-last trip, which opened the door for the Wolves to attempt a game-tying three at the buzzer.
I would make an apology to the people of Serbia, but they don’t need it (they’ll watch anything that has the words “Bogdan”, “Bogdanovic”, or “Hot Serbian Women” in the title of the video), and, besides, why would I be the one apologizing? I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s not my fault that this video is overladen with free throws.
I will, however, extend a greeting to fans of the Los Angeles Lakers. Thank you for coming to watch this video after Bogdanovic was traded to your team! Hope you enjoyed it!
