Chandler Hutchison 16 Points Full Highlights (2/6/2020)

Chandler Hutchison is currently in the midst of a streak playing the best basketball of his life.

Alright, I admit, I might be overstating the situation a bit to draw an emotional response out of my viewership that will hopefully turn into Patreon donations. It’s likely that Hutchison had better streaks of play in college, and extremely likely that he had better streaks of play in high school. But, in terms of getting buckets in the big leagues, Hutchison is well and truly SHOWING OUT.

In the last four games, Hutchison has scored 21, 8, 17, and 16 points. His previous career high? Just thirteen. I don’t know what’s changed (the roster, coaching, and ownership are all static as far as I can tell), but whatever it is, the Bulls should make sure that it continues. Many (including myself) had written Hutchison off as a non-contributor this season, but if he can provide some of the same skills that Otto Porter provided (what’s his injury again? attacked by a Lionel Ritchie fan?), then that would be a boon for the Bulls.

Of course, he can’t provide TOO much scoring. That would result in wins. He should score just enough points to entertain the fans and convince the front office that he’s a piece to keep going forward, but not so many points that the Bulls end the game with more points than the other team. Those lottery ping pong balls are begging to bounce for the Bulls.
