The more I think about it, the more conclusively I conclude that my previous comparison of Gary Trent to Tony Snell is basically the most accurate and genius comparison ever made by an NBA journalist. Ever. Just look at how accurate it is:
-Both of them are good, but low-volume three-point shooters
-Both of them are lacking in other box-score stats
-Both of them have braids (not really, but Tony still has braids in my heart)
-Both of them have a consonant followed by a vowel followed by a consonant followed by a Y in the first name
-Both of them have two consonants followed by an E followed by two consonants in their last name
-Both of them are on teams with injured big men
This is the kind of ultra-factual, ultra-insightful journalism that you would normally have to pay money for, and I’m out here giving it away for free. While you eagerly lap it up and look around for more free morsels of NBA knowledge, I’ll be over here eating greasy pizza boxes because I ran out of food two weeks ago.
