Seth Curry 20 Points Full Highlights (2/7/2020)

Everyone should know by now that semi-interesting factoid that the only active player with a better career three-point percentage than Seth Curry is Stephen Curry (subject to change, I think they were literally tied at one point). That piece of information is going to be a staple of pub trivia nights for at least the next century, if not longer. That’s how semi-interesting it is.

Another semi-interesting factoid regarding career three-point percentages is that Hubert Davis managed to shoot 44 percent for his career from deep while no one noticed. Or, if they did notice, they didn’t notice hard enough for future people to even realize that he existed at all. Hubert Davis. Doesn’t even sound real, but he shot a lot of threes and made most of them, and most of those years weren’t even with the BS shortened line that turned everyone’s midrange shots into threes.

Seth can pass his brother if he just concentrates on taking only really good shots from now on, since he’s only a few percentages of a percent behind. It already seems like he’s pretty careful with the threes that he takes, taking a lot of them but not usually taking ridiculous ones just because he can (Luka Doncic does enough of that for the Mavericks). If he’s getting antsy about that idea, here’s another one: just start spamming midrange jimbos. Steph had a really sick midrange game that kind of got pushed aside when it turned out that he was the greatest three-point shooter ever, but Curry has earned no such designation, so let’s see more like that one midrange shot he hit this game.
