Miles Bridges 18 Points Full Highlights (2/10/2020)

I feel bad for anybody who watched this game, either on TV or in person. Right now I am too sleepy to delve deeply into the stats, but an 87-76 final score has got to be one of the lowest combined scores of the season. It’s definitely top ten in that category of dubious distinction. The Hornets won the game, but who really won when both teams were throwing bricks around like they’re confetti? The fans definitely didn’t win, that’s for sure.

Miles Bridges overcame the dismal suckage of his teammates to provide a game-high eighteen points for the winning side. That continues his run of nice scoring games: 15, 23, 25, 16, 20, 20, and now 18 in the last seven games. This could be construed as “turning the corner”, or it could be construed as “MKG and W-Marv are no longer breathing down his neck for playing time”. I’m not sure exactly which. I can’t bring myself to care at the moment.

Man, just thinking about this game is getting me depressed. Can the Pistons organization, like, offer refunds to the two thousand or so people who bothered to show up in person for this brickfest? And maybe a coupon for a free bag of mini-donuts from the mini-donut stand? Because being subjected to what the Hornets and Pistons did tonight is not entertainment. It’s not even close to entertainment. It’s more like a punishment.
