Sterling Brown is the odd man out of the Bucks’ rotation. When they acquired Marvin Williams (who, by the way, is NOT getting a highlight vid for a measly 9 points, I don’t care if it’s his debut), I was actually thinking that Brown would be the one getting waived instead of Dragan Bender. That’s how low on him I am right now, and I don’t feel like the Bucks are very high on him either.
Right now, it’d probably be better for him on a different team. A team where he can actually play, because I don’t think he’s a bad player. He tries a little too hard sometimes, simply because of how few minutes he gets, but on a different team, maybe a team like the Magic or something, he could probably be a pretty good backup guard. I think. It’s hard to tell with him.
This might be my only chance until the last game of the season (when every single good player on every single team [except the ones vying for playoff spots] sits out and it’s basically a total scrubfest) to get a video for Brown, so I’m taking it. 14 points is actually right about in line with his career high as long as you ignore his 27-point game that really came out of nowhere and then went back to the nowhere after it was done.
