Caleb Martin 11 Points Full Highlights (2/25/2020)

It’s sort of funny that, in a game where the Pacers beat the Hornets by a score of 119-80, I only have to make one highlight video, and it’s for a player on the team that scored 80. I suppose this fact isn’t much solace for Hornets fans who are just now seeing the true depths of how badly their favored team is capable of playing, but I thought I’d point it out as an interesting side note.

Caleb Martin is the “bad” twin out of the Martin twins, but neither of them is all that good. Cody Martin, the “good” twin, has appeared in well over half of the Hornets’ games this seasons, while Caleb has spent considerably more time in the G-League. I think the intel on them is that Caleb is the “scorer” one and Cody is the “defender” one. The reason Caleb spends so much time in the G-League is that his scoring abilities aren’t as NBA-ready as his brother’s defensive capabilities. That’s what I’ve gathered, anyway. Please inform me if I’m wrong. It’s possible that I have them switched around.

The way I tell them apart is to link Cody Martin with Cody Zeller. Both are good players who play in the most of the Hornets’ games. I also link Caleb Martin to Caleb Swanigan as both are examples of end-of-bench scrubs who don’t play except in rare circumstances. If you would like to borrow my helpful memory devices so that you, too, can make a meaningful difference between the Martins, go right ahead. Just make sure to credit me whenever you think about them by saying aloud “Thanks Mr. DTB”.
