Danny Green 17 Points Full Highlights (2/25/2020)

It remains very un-legal and very un-cool that the Lakers were allowed to acquire Danny Green. He’s, like, the perfect role player for any championship team (just ask the Spurs, but don’t ask the Cavaliers). Everyone who knows anything about the NBA already knows why, so I’ll keep it short: he shoots threes, and he plays defense.

And the Lakers just went out and got him. Just snatched him from the reigning-champion Raptors. Say what you want about David Stern, but at least he was willing to step in when he sensed that a move was being made that would disrupt the carefully constructed balance of the NBA too much to be allowed. Adam Silver knew what the Lakers were doing, he knew what Green was doing, and he simply let it happen without so much as a peep.

Now the competitive balance is broken; the Lakers are probably going to win the championship. Sure, the Bucks are looking good, but take it from a longtime Bucks fan: you literally can not trust them to do anything correctly, especially not in the playoffs. LeBron James combined with Danny Green and a little side-dish of Anthony Davis is going to be too much for any team to deal with in the ‘offs.

My only hope is that Markieff Morris somehow implodes the entire thing with his badness.
