Brandon Knight 19 Points Full Highlights (2/28/2020)

This is not as sad of a Brandon Knight vid than the last one I uploaded, which was sad in so many ways that when I rewatched it yesterday, it sent me into a tailspin of depression which I am just now recovering from. That one was probably unsuitable for uploadment on account of how soul-crushingly, heart-rendingly, profoundly and interminably sad it really was.

This one is a lot better. A LOT better. A lot happier. For one thing, the Pistons won this game, basically on the back of Knight’s scoring (just forget about Derrick Rose for now, I’ve got a narrative that I’m weaving here and I’ll be a monkey’s uncle if I let that dude mess it up for me) in the fourth quarter. He made some nice passes, and hit some nice shots. It’s his highest scoring game since December of… do you want to guess the year? Yeah, let’s see if you can figure this one out.

If you guessed 2016, you win! It’s been a long time since Knight had a game like this, the last time was when he was still a member of the Suns. Which makes this, in addition to all the other non-sad stuff, a REVENGE GAME. It took a while, but Knight finally came into Phoenix and said “I have no particular animosity towards the Suns organization, I just want to help my current team win”.

Him saying that totally ruined my revenge-fueled narrative, by the way. Here I was worrying about Rose but I should’ve been worrying about Knight instead.
