I have recently become an expert in the area of SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. I was reading some fluff piece about which jobs are booming right now, and it was lame (they didn’t even mention how much money you can make being an NBA highlights maker [please donate to my Patreon]), but I was intrigued by the idea of making money by selling businesses snake-oil about how to get more hits on their websites and blog posts and stuff. So I read the Wikipedia article about the concept, and now I’m an expert.
So if you’re questioning why the heck I would put “/1 Fight” in the title of this video, well, now you know. It’s because I’m the expert, and you’re the peon. The inclusion of the word “fight” in the title was a carefully calculated move born from the brain of one the world’s preeminent SEO experts. I would not expect a layperson to understand.
The short version: now, when people search the words “fight” and “NBA” in tandem, which they do often, because the majority of NBA viewers are testosterone-fueled young males whose only outlet for their pent-up aggression is watching grown men beat each other up (see: WWE), this video will come up, granting me many thousands (perhaps millions) of extra views and funneling many Patreonbux my way.
And, yes, I did just make that whole paragraph out of just one sentence. Thanks for noticing.
