Terrence Ross 33 Points Full Highlights (2/28/2020)

This is how a highlight video should be. No free throws. No assists. No lame “hustle” plays. No actions performed by other players. Just a straight-up no-frills bucket fest from one of the more underrecognized bucket-getters in the league, Mr. Terrence Ross.

The “no free throws” thing is especially great for me. I hate free throws. They slow me down while editing and they ruin the flow of the video. They’re a necessary evil because they represent an important source of scoring for most players in the league, but being a “necessary evil” doesn’t negate the “evil” part.

To give proper thanks for the free-throwlessness of this video, I have already express mailed thank-you cards with personalized messages to the following recipients:

-Terrence Ross. His jumpshot-heavy style of play does not make him a magnet for foul calls.
-The refs. They probably could have called fouls on some plays, but they wisely swallowed their whistles in order to optimize the highlight-viewing experience for my scrubscribers.
-Timberwolves players who defended Ross. They could have egregiously hit Ross across the arms or just flat out punched him in the jaw, but they didn’t.
-Adam Silver. He can mandate anything he wants and it happens just like that. He probably mandated that Ross be awarded no free throws in this game.
-Dr. James Naismith. His interference with this game from beyond the grave ensured that Ross would score 33 points without shooting a free throw. I’m just wondering how the postal service will deliver a thank-you card to somebody who’s dead.
