Anthony Tolliver 12 Points Full Highlights (3/2/2020)

Does it seem like to anybody else that Anthony Tolliver doesn’t age? He’s looked almost exactly the same since he came into the league with the Spurs over a decade ago. His appearance doesn’t change at all except for the random appearance and subsequent disappearance of his facial hair at random intervals. When he did “The Decision Part Deux,” the only way you could tell he was younger than he is now is because of his youthful exuberance in spoofing LeBron James’ free-agency TV special.

I think part of the reason it seems like Tolliver is timeless is because his skin has no wrinkles or blemishes. It’s the skin of a preteen whose face hasn’t yet been ravaged by the unforgiving ravages of acne. And when he keeps his head totally shaved and totally shiny, there’s no way to tell if he’s suffering any hair loss. That would be our major indicator but he’s hiding it from us.

Maybe his eyes look slightly gaunter than they should. Maybe.

I strongly believe that a major reason why Tolliver is still kicking around the league is because teams don’t realize how old he is. They just see pictures of him and assume he’s in his mid-20s. Who wouldn’t want a 3-and-D power forward in his mid-20s? That’s exactly the kind of player that every team wants on their roster. And that’s why Tolliver’s still around.
