Eric Paschall 22 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (3/3/2020)

The Warriors were without a point guard for this game, and they were also without the point-guard-esque skills of Draymond Green, so the Warriors had to switch to a “point guard by committee” model. I have to say, the results were impressive: a solid win over the pseudo-contender Denver Nuggles.

Eric Paschall contributed his part to the Warriors’ passing spectacle with five assists of his own (out of 31 total for the team). Maybe “spectacle” is overstating it, but the Warriors were definitely playing free and loose since none of the usual egos were there monopolizing possessions with their egoey egoness. Gee, I wonder who I could be talking about.

I sometimes feel like Paschall and Draymond Green only get compared because they’re physically similar (stocky power forwards with round faces), but then Paschall has games like this where the comparisons become more than just superficial. I don’t know how good Paschall’s defense is, but his offense has been there since day one. Could we be seeing the end of the Draymond Green era in Golden State?
