Duncan Robinson 24 Points/8 Threes Full Highlights (3/6/2020)

It seems like just yesterday that Wayne “The Man With The Golden Arm” Ellington was setting the Heat record for most threes made in a season. He hasn’t really done anything since then, but that was an amazing season. If you want, you can check out the three-ilation I made for it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aMErfMKvaU .

That was only two years ago. How quickly things change, because Duncan Robinson has already surpassed Ellington’s mark, and the Heat still have around 20 games to go. Ellington’s season was great, but Robinson’s is even greater; he’s third in the league in three-point makes with 233 (behind only James Harden and Buddy Hield) while shooting 45 percent (fourth in the league, behind George HIll, Seth Curry, and J.J. Redick) from out there. It’s an insane combination of volume and accuracy that is unmatched.

Oh yeah, and he set the record for most threes by an undrafted player in this game also. I feel kind of bad that I didn’t get to hear the Heat broadcast for this, because you know Eric Reid would be telling us all about it, he’d have a countdown and everything. He loves records and stuff like that. He was probably so happy. And so am I.
