The 76ers are quickly becoming the team that holds the coveted status of “team who ruins DownToBuck’s life the most”. Even though I’m mostly retired and don’t do a ton of videos, I still get upset when one team starts to demand more of my time than they should. A lot of different Sixers players are playing well this season, and they keep ending up with 30-point games that I can’t ignore.

Add Shake Milton to that list of players who has popped off. 31 points isn’t a career high for him (remember, he scored 39 last season), but it’s still a lot of points for the guy who is at best, the fourth option on offense. And it’s not like the Sixers were depleted for this game like they were for the legendary Tyrese Maxey 39-point performance. They had all their top scorers available. There was no reason for Milton to shoulder this much of the scoring load, other than he just felt like taking a dump on the Heat for some reason.

If Terrance Ferguson somehow scores 25+ during the course of the season, that’s when I’ll know that God (or whatever grand cosmic entity is out there) is specifically targeting me even though I’ve made it clear that I’m semi-retired and I don’t deserve to be targeted with a serving of divine retribution. If anybody deserves divine retribution, it’s House of Highlights. Not me.
