(I will attempt to write this video description while ably skirting around the fact that Cole Anthony’s hair totally looks like a lampshade.)

Being a Magic fan is pain. It’s been pain since Dwight left. The only good things that ever happened to Magic fans are miraculous game 1 wins against top-seeded Raptors and Bucks teams. Meanwhile, the list of bad things that have happened to Magic fans is entirely too long to enumerate here. Among those bad things are Jonathan Isaac having his knee explode, Markelle Fultz having his knee explode, Mo Bamba being such a bust that he can’t even wrest minutes away from Khem Birch, Khem Birch, Aaron Gordon’s stagnated development, trading Victor Oladipo for a Serge Ibaka rental, giving Bismack Biyombo eighty million dollars, watching Michael Carter-Williams shoot jumpshots, watching D.J. Augustin dribble the ball for fifteen seconds at a time, and looking at Scott Skiles’ ugly, thirty-assist-getting face.

But Cole Anthony is a bright spot. Or, at least, he’s sometimes a bright spot, when he’s not being a dark spot. With no Fultz, Anthony is in prime position to jumpstart his development and establish himself as a crucial component of the Magic’s hypothetical future success. That future success is extremely hypothetical, but it could happen, and Anthony might even be a part of it. Certainly, the three-point shooting he displayed in this game gives one hope that he could bring a shooting touch to the position that the Magic haven’t had since…Shelvin Mack?

In conclusion, Cole Anthony’s hair totally looks like a lampshade. Is anybody else seeing this?
