Shake Milton 28 Points Full Highlights (3/20/2021)

You are now realizing that Kelis’ classic R&B single, “Milkshake”, which is a modern classic that retains relevancy to this very day, was released all the way back in 2003. Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday. Yet, there are people, probably a bunch of them, watching this video who weren’t even alive when that song came out. You dang kids. Get off my channel! I try to portray my channel as a family-friendly enterprise, and it is, but people who don’t have fully developed cognitive abilities (which would include all Raptors fans, ohhhhhh DISSSSSSSS) have no hope of comprehending the wisdom I’m spitting in each and every video description.

Anyway, I always assumed that the titular “Milkshake” was a reference to a girl’s fat posterior, but now that I’m looking into it more it looks that was never verified.

I’m only bringing this up because of a tenuous connection with Shake Milton by way of Milton’s amazing nickname (coined by yours truly), “Miltshake”. I bet if Milton wanted to make a bit of extra dough, and you know he does because his contract is frickin’ pathetic for the kind of production he’s providing (peep [do people still say “peep”] these 28 points if you aren’t a believer yet), he could make a spoof music video of “Milkshake” called “Miltshake”. Replace all the innuendo-ey stuff in the original with clips of him frickin’ drilling jumpers right in defenders faces, get some of his Instagram hos to provide the backing vocals, and write some new lyrics that emphasize his basketball-playing ability as well as his personal wealth, and you might have a underground mumble-rap hit. Did I mention that this re-imagining is going to change the genre from R&B to mumble rap? Because that’s what you’d have to do if you wanted to be relevant in this day and age.

I’d do it myself, but ever since my disastrous video-shoot with Rodney Hood for “Reppin’ the Hood (feat. Rodney Hood)” where we (I say we but I’m pretty sure it was just Hood) accidentally shot a dude with the shotgun we were waving around, I’ve been kind of spooked about putting myself out there too much.
