Moses Brown’s 23 rebounds is the most any Thunder player has grabbed. Ever. “Buh buh buh BUT DEE TEE BEE” you wail from your recliner, the vinyl of which has fused permanently with your skin making you a disgusting creature that is half-man and half-furniture. “What about all the Seattle Super S…S…Sonics players who had more? Don’t you know that it’s the same franchise?” you continue, your words garbled by the lightly blended cheeseburgers you unceasingly cram into your toothless mouth.

Wow, you sure got me there. Yup. Mm hm. I totally forgot about that.

Idiot.

Anyway, Brown’s 23 boards actually only ties the Thunder all-time mark, because Steven Adams also had that many a couple years ago. I’m actually surprised that Westbrook didn’t have more at any point; I guess there is an upper limit to how many uncontested rebounds one statpadder can grab in a game. And you know that if Westbrook wasn’t around stealing them all, Adams would’ve had some monster rebounding nights. But still. This is just Moses Brown. He’s a raw stick-figure who looks kinda fragile, but he just went out there and made the Celtics “bigs” look nonexistent. Why did they trade Daniel Theis for Moritz Wagner, again? That just seems like not a good move, unless you enjoy having random young bigs put up 20-20 games on you.

Brown did most of his damage in the first half, only adding two buckets in the second half (one at the very start, and one at the very end to make sure the 20-20 game happened), which is kind of sad. 30-30 wasn’t out of the question at halftime (okay, maybe it was, but let me dream), maybe even 40-40 (my dream is now turning into the best kind of nightmare). That’s how bad he dominated the first half. It was brutal.
