At this point, we can just say that any random point guard can come into the Raptors system and start putting up stats like it’s no big deal. Unless that point guard’s name is Lorenzo Brown. Anyone else, though, just come to the Raptors and enjoy your free 20-10 games.
Everyone knows that Fred VanVleet isn’t even good. It’s plain and obvious, because he’s a midget and from Rockford (which is the armpit of the Midwest). The only reason he looks good is because he’s on the Raptors, playing for Nick Nurse, and he can put up stats just by being on the court. That’s the only reason. Don’t be fooled by his championship, or his supposed “clutch” play in the playoffs. He sucks. Full stop.
No, I am not salty. Why does everyone think I’m salty? I’m just stating true facts.
I’m not going to say that Malachi Flynn sucks like VanVleet does. Because he doesn’t. But he’s a rookie, he was a low draft selection, so it’s not expected that he’ll have games like this so early in his career. But here he is, having a 20-10 game, with a bunch of other random role-players and scrubs as his teammates. Because of the situation he was placed in. A great performance, and he did some nice things, but I’d like to see him do something like this on a dumpster-fire team like the Cavaliers.
Not saying that the Raptors aren’t a dumpster fire. They are definitely a dumpster fire. It’s just that they’re a dumpster fire that has a system in place to make their point guards look good.
Again, I am not salty. Why would I be salty?
